Skiing at Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek boasts 1,832 acres of skiable terrain, serviced by 23 lifts, 2 gondolas and heaps of high speed quad chairs. The vertical drop is approximately 3,340 feet, providing a beautiful skiing experience. Beaver Creek is consistently groomed to provide nice wide, steady trails that are ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. And there are plenty of steep slopes and more challenging runs for experienced and freestyle skiers.

Golf Courses

With 16 golf courses within 16 miles of Tayanita, golfing fans are spoiled for choice. Three courses are world-class championship level, and the cool mountain air, combined with breathtaking backdrops, makes for a truly stunning experience. Tayanita's shuttle bus can drop you straight to the golf club, and pick you up when you're done. Golfing at Beaver Creek is a truly enjoyable experience.

Fly Fishing

Gore Creek Fly Fishermen have been offering guided fly fishing trips to the public for more than 35 years. They have extensive knowledge of Eagle River, Gore Creek, the Colorado River, the Roaring Fork River, the Yampa River as well as high-country streams and lakes.

Hiking

Beaver Creek has summer and winter hiking tracks to suit all levels of outdoor adventure enthusiast. Guided hikes are also available through the Hiking Centre, with walks for all ability levels, including families. The Hiking Center specializes in signature group and private hikes designed to showcase Beaver Creek Mountain and its surroundings.

Cycling

Beaver Creek has miles of rolling single tracks and breathtaking views. You can rent top quality mountain bikes from Beaver Creek Sports, and explore the stunning scenery the mountains and valleys have to offer. Take the bike on the Centennial Express Lift so you can begin your adventure at the top of the mountain, full of energy.

Dining

Beaver Creek has a number of casual restaurants and fine dining establishments for you to enjoy and re-fuel whilst taking in the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views. It is advisable to check with each restaurant in advance to ensure they can accommodate your booking. Book the on-demand shuttle to take you there and back.

Wildlife

Colorado is home to more than 950 species of wildlife, many of which can be found in Beaver Creek's mountains, forests and rivers, including Deer, Elk, Rabbits, Turkeys, Beavers, Bears, Foxes, Bighorn Sheep, Turtles, Trout and many more! Guided wildlife experiences are available, including hunting for those with a valid licence.
